Its typical of this forum that this issue has been blown completely out of proportion and a witch hunt is now being started by the mob to route out the "informers", "k.unts" and Stu's croonies who were instigated Peewee's dismissal.

I would be hugely surprised that Stu the Red had anything to do with this.

The people who made complaints about Peewee are not necessarily K.unts. They may have had their reasons. Maybe they didn't, maybe some people had personal issues with Peewee and had their own agenda with him.

One thing is for sure, whatever the reasons, it was not one taken lightly by LFC. He would not have been swayed by people with personal agendas.

As I said, I don't think its fair for Woof or Peewee to start a witch hunt against anybody who may have made complaints.

I'm prepared to take flak, as the mob want someone to string up. I PM'd the mods the other day in which I indicated my reservations about peewee being a moderator. This was not bourne out of any personal agenda that I have against peewee because I don't have a personal agenda against him. As a fellow poster, I have no issue with him and indeed in the past I had a few PM conversations with him.

My reservations as peewee as a mod have nothing to do with peewee as a fellow poster or indeed as a person. Indeed I have reservations about BigMick being a mod. Mick is a terrific guy: an absolute gent in fact, and is a magnificent poster. However, being a world class poster does not necessarily mean a good moderator, indeed the converse can often be true.

I also believe other people whom I like on this forum: Dawson, woof, Leon, Ciggy etc would not be suitable candidates as a moderator.

Moderating a forum is not a privilege. I gave it up because as a moderator you have to be able to bite your tongue, not speak your mind in public about personal issues you have with other members, and as best you can stay out of rows and squabbles going on between members. As a moderator you must be as neutral as possible in rows and disagreements between forum members, and that was the reservation I had with peewee, not anything to do with him personally.

I'll go on the record for the first time since I left as mod in saying that the moderating team made a mistake in appointing peewee and BigMick as mods. However, they are only human and mistakes can happen: indeed I supported the appointment of BigMick as a moderator two years ago, and I can make mistakes as much as the next guy.

If peewee and the mob want the bad guy I've got thick enough skin to take the flak, but I rather it be directed at me than have yet another tedious paranoid witch hunt on this fourm.

This place has become an absolute soap opera lately...What a bunch of shallow little pre pubescent some people on here are.

My personal opinion....Peewee is a good lad and one i like.Not mod material in my opinion as he is to headstrong(not a bad quality) in a man.He has opinions he has to say on every subject without sugar coating therefore not diplomatic enough to be a supposed peacekeeper!Just my 2 pence worth.

Although this is my opinion i would not behave like a pathetic little school child and complained to the Admin...that was just pathetic.Maybe i was brought up wrong but i was told to always say things face to face rather than snipe about behind peoples back in the dark like a pussy with no balls.

This place has become a mess lately...There are too many people on here that think for some reason or other they are above the rest and that their opinion matters more...they are mistaken 300 or 10000 posts doesnt make a difference.

I would'nt worry about being 'stripped or your modship' Peewee....They have probably done you a massive fu.cking favour fella!
