i love 'em. especially the charger and the gto.

mind you when i was in oz some of the fat old holdens were pretty damn tasty too. australian muscle rocks too - and i aint talkin lifeguards.

ok, i've considered it. and he's right. its amazing that considering he's such a f*cked up, drug crazed, alcoholic lunatic he comes out with some real incisive stuff from time to time.

but cunningly getting back on the motors topic, my fave bit of hunter is from fear and loathing in las vegas where he's talking about being pulled by traffic cops. i don't have the exact quote here but basically he suggests that if a traffic cop car tries to pull you over, whatever you do don't just stop. you should put you foot down and do a ton to the nearest exit where you should pull a hand brake turn onto the verge and calmly step out of the vehicle. that way the cop'll be so impressed they'll let you off with a warning.
