Its unbelieveable - entering the 3rd season and we still havent a clue whats happening.

Ok, thats it, im angry now. All you people, downloading Lost. Now channel 4 havent brought the rights to season 3 and 4 as viewing figures dipped to 2 million. Sky have brought the package!!!

I dont have sky and piracy is just wrong. Its people like you that make people like me have to get sky and give murdoch more money.

Piracy is a crime...k?

Ok, rant sort of over, but im still not happy. I dont wanna buy fecking sky. Its evil. i like my lil freebox, it does me fine. I watch the adverts, which pays for the show. Gah!

Very good episode last night

Very interesting dream sequence. Here are my thoughts on what exactley the dream sequence meant metaphorically.

Airport = island

Sayid,Sun, Jin = Sun and Jin are fighting which isn't unusual, and Sayid is with them in one part of the airport. Boone tells Locke that Sayid's got it. Meaning that they are on another part of the island and Sayid will help them get back to the losties.

Claire, Charlie, Aaron = nothing big here, just them playing family and apparently they will be in danger later.

Now for the interesting things......

If the airport represents the island, then the plane they are going to board represents a way off the island. Desmond is the represented as the pilot. (he may eventually be responsible for helping everyone get off the island). Boone says he's currently helping himself. We'll see where that leads. Hurley is the ticket clerk (maybe he will find the solution to getting off the island and Desmond will be the one to implement or do whatever it takes to get them off the island). Benry is the security guard that has to check people to make sure they are "safe" enough to board the plane, aka leave the island. Funny how Jack is already being wanded and checked, while Kate and Sawyer are patiently waiting and flirting in line.

Also Locke and Eko were not in the airport which makes me think

a) they dont make it

b) they are intergral to the plot of LOST.

I always thought they were important due to the names ie Locke as in Lock and Eko as in Keo, Lock and Key?!? maybe?

SPOILER ALERT--DO NOT READ ON IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN THE MOST RECENT EPISODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, so with Juliette as a fertility doctor this further confirms that the Others are having a little trouble making babies and are looking to the crash survivors to become breeders (kidnappings of Claire's kid and Walt made that pretty obvious). I think they took Sawyer and Kate to have them breed. Clearly, they are interested in observing and manipulating their relationship. And that scene last night where Sawyer was getting beat down until Kate gave in and said she loved him makes sense in this context: the enraged Other would have probably killed Sawyer had Kate not said she loved him. He clearly wanted to but grudgingly stopped as soon as she spoke the words, indicating that their love is a key outcome for the Others plan. After all, if they can get Sawyer and Kate to admit feelings for one another it'll be pretty easy to get them knocking boots!

That's my take anyway...
