i appreciate the efforts you're all making in the interest of stimulating debate.

i'll try and clear up some of the questions...

lynds - barceloneta is actually a part of barcelona. its the part by the sea where the fishermen and then the gypsys used live. i bought a bag of cheesy crisps there today.

woolly - who needs beaches when you've had a brekkie from suepee's? have one then get yerself to formby point and we'll discuss it again, eh? anyway, mate, you don't need beaches - you need be-atches.

dawsonio - i'm in the city centre and our black horse is the true and proper black horse that no small time resort wannabees from bl.oody callella are gonna steal off us, right?

i miss paddy's though....

i went on a mechanical bull in barcelona... was fun, but i woke up with some back packer called nicola and then got alcohol poisoning... there u go

Its a great city, do you go to the Gaudi park a lot

I loved being able to swim in the olympic pool and the walk there from the fountain area

It sort of reminds me of Cardiff :laugh:
