What is is with the BBC and this man? I've made a complaint to the BBC and I urge you all to do the same (even if you didn't see it). I'll copy and paste my complaint, which should be self explanatory. Underneath is also a link for the BBC complaints page.
My Complaint:
I am totally outraged by your choice of "expert" opinion on the incident regarding the comments made by Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross. Watching the BBC News at 6 (BBC1 27/10/08), there was a feature about the said incident. The person you chose to comment was former S*n editor Kelvin McKenzie. Yes, the same Kelvin McKenzie that authorised the sensationalist headline "The Truth" that lied about events that occurred on the day of the Hillsborough tragedy. The same Kelvin McKenzie that who refuses to apologise and still stands by the what he believes to be "the truth". I find it sickening that a public service such as yourself would lower themselves to seek comment from this individual. And to add insult to injury, McKenzie is commenting on the apology of Brand and Ross. According to him, an apology from these two is not enough - which is a bit rich coming from a person who refuses to accept that he was in the wrong 19 years ago. I am also disgusted by the exposure that the BBC constantly gives to this man, despite the controversy that surrounds him.

There's not many things that get my back up enough to complain, but I was fuming about this and had to say something.
