I post on an Irish League forum and some of the Irish League players post on it. But its all for fun. They post in General Chat. Although, they have been known to post in the discussion's about the days match :)  There was also an Irish League player had his own Bebo page (which I have seen) in which he said a few things he should'nt have, but sadly he had to take it down because of all the abuse he got

I just cant comprehend anyone watching Irish League football in this day -you must be a real football enthusiast brother.
i remember a clip they used on question of sport ,2 irish league teams playing in heavy snow with a white ball
The players hadnt a clue were the ball was? Nor did the commentator or viewers -great stuff!

For a start sister Kazza 1 is actually a girl named Karen.

And theres nothing wrong with Irish Leaugue football.Personally i dont watch it,though i know a lot of families that have a good day out every sat watching their local team...Whats wrong with people taking an interest in local grass roots sport??

And please stop calling everyone and all brother, this is not the Bronx its an LFC chat forum!!

So tell me BROTHER- why dont you tag along to these games? Just as a matter of interest? Or have ya more exciting things to do like wash your hair or walk the dog?

I didnt say it was wrong to follow grass root sport, its just hard to contemplate anyone paying money to stand and watch that kick and rush sunday league style football for 90 minutes? Especially if they play with a white ball in the snow :D

Thanks for putting him right on the brother thing barry  But I think I'll forgive him. As long as he does'nt start calling me sister!!!!! Not everyone on here knows I'm a girl

As for Irish League footy, its not played on a Sunday, its played on a Saturday, just like preimership footy. The match your talking about was Glentoran and Linfield on Boxing Day 1998 (the big two as we call them, always play on Boxing Day)The match was started with an orange ball, which was lost during half time and the rest of the match was played with a white ball. Everyone still has a laugh about it today.
I for one love standing in the stands in the pi$$ing rain watching the game. I'm away to a game tomorrow nite in Newry. And I dont care if it rains the whole time. I'll be shouting and bawling at the ref anyway!!!!

I have never watched a GAA match   And before anyone goes into the religon thing, its nothing to do with that. It's just like rugby and I hate rugby.  :D  But I do know a lot of people who go to GAA matches, my mates (female!!) play every Sunday!! They have treid to explain the rules to me, but they are to much for me to take in!!

yeah and apparently mark gonzalez can't get enough of the fit birds zone either. after all, he is a fan of flange in general, if certain incidents in dublin hotels are anything to go by. :D
