just wondered why people would want someone who was banned for racism, obvioulsy i dont know if he was or not, but from the thread it looks so, because being new myself, I am reconsidering using this forum, thats all.

By the way, I classify myself as being British even though my parents were born in India.  Despite this I am still proud of my Indian Roots and i'm actually from Birmingham (not near the riots thankfully).  I didn't see what Barry's supposed to have said but at the end of the day there's no room for racism in any part of today's society.  Being of Asian heritage myself, I'll always be the first to condemn Asians if they're in the wrong (By the way it was never established who was responsible for the riots in Brum, but who gives a toss, they're all a bunch of for rioting anyway).  End of the day we all breath the same air, support the same team, colour, creed or cast should never come into it, I'm Asian and i would never riot.  Perhaps it was right to ban Barry, I certainly would have been offended if he had condemned all Asians in general, but yes i'd still be in favour of having him back, in the hope that he learnt something from his rant(s).

Oh dear!! A Newbie coming and voicing an option on something he knows nothing about...... I would not have dared to do this when I was a newbie
And thinking that all the people who post on the forum are fellas! You have a lot to learn mate!!!! Have you checked down below lately Ciggy?? Maybe you have grown something you don't want........

Anyway, back to the subject.... I think Barry has learnt his lesson. And as Mikz said, maybe to start of with, he could post during the day. His watershed being 8 or 9 o'clock, just to see how it goes! Then if hes good let him stay till 10....
But if he steps out of line again bar him for good! No one knows till hes allowed to post again!

I dont care about whoever the geezer was that got banned, it doesnt matter, only thing i was looking at is stuff like 'what about freedom of speech'. Thats all!
