Just had it on a stream from Ice films ... Brilliant site HD quality films, that load quickly

A quirky Korean film about a fella who tries to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge into a river but gets washed up on an island where he's marooned even though the islands IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY 

Desperately trying to find a version with english subtitles, if anyone finds one give us a shout.

Now I know theres an American remake of this,but Im not sure if its out yet or if they scrapped it as they knew it was never gonna be a patch on the original.
This is a great great movie.
It brings you up and down,you see what happens but are left feeling like headbutting the wall in the middle,there is something so obvious that should be done in this film that it almost drives ya nuts with..FFS do it....if ya get me,you will?
Anyway its not your typical,someone gets killed and we catch em,the end movie.
Its not gonna leave you feeling..Ahhh thats that,but its great!
Cant recommend it enough!

Well, it's took me a long time Baz but hadn't forgotten your recommendation for the Korean movie "the chaser"

Just got three dvds less than a fiver each from my Hong Kong supplier and "the Chaser" is one of them.  I'll watch it tonight, i'm sure I'm gonna love it.

also got the legendary "Brothers" (Takeshi Kitano) remastered for £3 and Japanese mod classic "Shinobi" also £3, I'll let you know how I got on with them.

you guys should check out My Ex. its a Thai horror show and its just brilliant. i wasnt able to watch in the cinema as the girl i was with was scared to the point she plugged in her Ipod. but ive got the dvd now   oh and it stars my fave Thai actress Wanida Termthanaporn. that leggy beauty.

Not quite up there with Old Boy or the "Sympathy" movies but nevertheless a very very good movie definitely worth catching.

That's completely off its cake ... The scene were he's drowning is like a pastiche of the best bits of  Fear and Loathing its that cracked
Definitely going to watch it though .... No luck finding a sub titled version of Ong Bak 3 yet though ...

I quite like the look of this although its hard to determine when based only on a trailer ... but it has a good feel to it and the reviews are good

Oh and this one also..... it is supposedly like a mix of Oldboy coupled with the movie Seven ... just has to be seen ....two great movies if it mirrors the atmosphere in any of them then it will be worth watching
