anyone remember a club called le bateau down the backstreets near baa bar somewhere? used to be open til about 5am when most clubs were still shutting at 2. got booted out of there for having sex in the bogs once, with a wonderful classy lady who ended up being my wife

le bateau was/is on duke street - the home of voodoo for many years... and my home from home as well.

there was a door at the back of the upstairs dancefloor that led into a large disused kitchen. that was where our gang set up camp and got up to all sorts of silly behaviour.

Tilt's Eastern Storm remix of this track is amazing, and I regard it as probably being the best trance track ever. It was just recently ripped down from Youtube, for f*ck knows what reason, and I'm a bit p*ssed at that, because that was the only place on the net where I could find it. Just as well I recorded it from there before it vanished.

This is the track that started a revolution and made techno basically what it was from there on in.

Tilt's Eastern Storm remix of this track is amazing, and I regard it as probably being the best trance track ever. It was just recently ripped down from Youtube, for f*ck knows what reason, and I'm a bit p*ssed at that, because that was the only place on the net where I could find it. Just as well I recorded it from there before it vanished.

Kellys in Portrush used to  be mad back then.As soon as ya paid in there were about 20 dealers shouting E's acid or speed!
Everyone was off there heads,it was class!
not the same now"the beautiful people" have emerged and spoilt it all!
