I think it was another ageing pro,living off past glories,trying to make his final millions on a move to the premiership.Why would he want to pull on the red shirt of Liverpool?......money thats all and in my eyes that isn't good enough.

Thats an interesting point, he has never played PL style Football and has a bit of an attitude if he doesn't get his way.  While it would be awesome to have a player of his class and experience I'm not sure if he'd fit in.  You want a player who will come in and give the impression of playing their lifetime with the other members of the team. 

No if all of LFC players did that they could beat anyone, they have enough class.
