I cant see Raffa ever taking the Real job!!
He needs time to put his stamp on any team and time is one thing Real Madrid do not give people! Maybe at the end of his career when he has nothing to loose!
Raffa's a REDMAN!!

Weve got bigger fish to fry than the F.A.Cup, we have a very good chance of picking up the European Cup for the 6th time, gimme that any day over the F.A. Cup.
Plus weve played a staggering amount of games this season, plus we have to travel to Japan, then all round europe.

To be honest, I really don't care about the FA Cup this year. There are far more important things like CGGY said. There's enough fixtures as there is, we need to focus on the Premiership mostly and Europe.

Rafa wouldn't touch Real with a barge pole!  no way would he have their chairman and Directors telling him who does and don't play.  Real are an example of why politics and football don't mix

The Madrid job isnt the Holy Grail of football management any more.Managers rank just above groundsman in the Real Madrid hierachy,a fact that wont have escaped Rafa`s notice.

Good point Greenred but there will be no shoratge of managers out there who believe they can turn Real Madrid around including possibly rafa Benitez  :Oo:

I'm a tad worried to be honest with you. On the minus side for us Rafa has history at this lcub and it's in his homeland.

On the plus side we all know how much Rafa struggled at valencia with boardroom interference and it's likely to be ten times worse at Madrid.

To my mind Rafa may be eyeing up the Spanish National team's mangers job up, if as normally happens Spain under achieve in the World Cup next summer........... ???

Balague has said that none of the managers in the Premiership who are on the shortlist[Mourinho,Wenger,Benitez] want to go to Madrid.

There's a couple of reasons why Benitez wont go:
1. His job is not finished here, he didn't leave Tenerife or Valencia without finishing the job he started
2. Real Madrid board interfere[sp] with the manager's work i.e who to buy,etc.. Benitez left Valencia because of that
3. Egos, too many egos and we all know that Benitez doesn't like that sort of thing
4. Middle of the season, it would be hard to get any team rolling in December. Like Sir Bobby Robson says "I don't want a stupid headache" :D
