Most of us aren't really interested in england matches, but its good to watch some potential liverpool targets playing.

Young is playing tonight, pretty lively he is too.

Baines as well, if you believe the paper rumours

Nice to see carroll getting some much needed match fitness in as well

that was great from Young... ???
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

My bro just told me he's left footed... I thought Carroll was right footed... I guess that explains the goal against us and the one right there...

Was a good finish from Andy, still rusty though. Glen was a big reason why England did well in the first half, I always wondered why Cahill is highly rated but I saw why in this match.. while jagielka and lescott were busy making fools of themselves Cahill was an absolute rock and never put a wrong foot in. Young was ok, didn't think he did all that well. Baines was okay too, not convinced about him or Young though, Cahill would be immense alongside Agger though.

Agree with you on Cahill 100%. My MOTM because Jagielka was the worst player on the pitch and Lescott didn't help.

I thought Baines did well when it came to offense.  Wasn't always in the best position defensively, but offensively he created a lot.  I thought Young did well too except for finishing.  He created some opportunities for himself and was unlucky not to score.

But Cahill... Incredible.

Lescott had an absolute stinker, Gyan screwed him over.

Cahill was great, so were Downing and Young.
