I had a debate with an Evertonian today.
He would prefer England to win the world cup than Everton win the league cup or FA cup. I would prefer liverpool to win any trophy than England win the world cup.

now i want to know what you think...

If you gave Manhattan the choice of England winning the World Cup/Euro 2008 or Liverpool winning the Carling Cup, I'd choose the Carling Cup victory.

Any success for LFC is more important to me than the England national team.

Liverpool first, England a very distant second. I would be happy if all our players gave up playing internationals.

Liverpool first obviously, but I must admit I do enjoy the international competitions , I'd be gutted if England failed to make it to the Euro 2008 finals, mind you if we've won the league or another Euro trophy come next May I probably wouldn't be bothered .

Liverpool every time . I'm not bothered in the slightest about ENGLAND . It's all a load of southern ballacks as far as i'm concerned.
