I think hes reached 80% of Souness already brother. i think as an individual, Gerrard has a bit more to his game. Try and imagine Gerrard in that famous old Liverpool quartet, it would be tremendous.
I know everyone has their own opinion on these things, and with Souness being back in 78-84 era its easy to forget the great things he done for us... but I just see Gerrard head and shoulders above the rest.

I don't think Gerrard has yet realised his full potential , he could go on to be Liverpools greatest ever midfielder but right now , for me , he's still playin' "Robin" to Souness's "Batman"

Souness..... hands down, the finest central midfielder ever to grace Britain..... Stevie's still young enough and I think that he has a REAL chance of catching up to Souey..... but not yet.....

Greame had it all.... 2 good feet, tough tackling, enforcer, leadership qualities, vision, passing, mental toughness.... you name it, he had it.... :blues:
