Biscan, he was actually a pretty good player but was misused by Houllier, started to show his ability again under Rafa, but by then it was probably a little too late as we had signed Alonso, still had Hamman and obviously Gerrard, and we couldn't seem to get rid of Diao.

Tell you what he had a couple of good games in Rafa's first season and definately wasn't total cr@p. He scored a great goal against Fulham away, and also slipped Luis Garcia in with a slide rule pass in the Champions League in a game we won 2-0 I think but I can't remember for the life of me who it was against. He also as I recall got his todger out at one point which kept the female fans interested.

Put it this way, if he was here now he wouldnb't be the worst player in the squad by a long way.

I didn't vote of course as there's no "others" option other than saying they are both "cr@p", which isn't really a true "others" as such.

Can't believe Biscan got votes even when compared to Lucas who has taken over from Kuyt as easy target when fans get frustrated over a draw or a defeat???

I think a few people have forgotten just how well and how vital Biscan was to us in his last season here, especially in the Champs league.

Deportivo away - Started we won 1-0
Monaco away - Started We lost 1-0 (only CL game we lost when Biscan started!)
Leverkusen - Started we won 3-1
Leverkusen - Started we won 3-1
Juventus - Started we won 2-1 quarter final
Juventus - Started we drew 0-0 quarter final
Chelsea - Started we drew 0-0 Semi - final
Chelsea - Started we won 1-0 Semi - final

Compare his starts against the more respected Alonso and I think you will be surprised !

Indeed saint mate , Igor was awful under houllier ,because he feckin ruined him playing him at centre half ffs. Igor wasn't half as bad a player as people make out .As his last season with us proved.
