Which team has the best centre-back pairing? I have listed the pair I consider the team's best, though you may not necessarily agree with the exact pairing

Chelsea's partnership is best.  Whenever I pick a Premiere League-only side they always feature in the defence.  They get the nod from me.

I'd say it's close between Liverpool, Chelsea, manu and Arsenal. I think our weaker player of the pair is better than Toure and O'Shea so I'd put us ahead of Arsenal and manu. It is tough to choose between Gallas & Terry and Hyypia & Henchoz, possibly too tough to call. Any players from those back fours would be a welcome addition to their rivals' squad

Terry and Gallas for me, they are the best all round.

If you look at Hyypia and Henchoz or Ferdinand and O'shea for example, there is a weak link in the pairing (henchoz * O'Shea)
when you're 4-0 up..
you should never lose 7-1

Hyypia is probably as good as Campbell, Gallas and Woodgate. Terry i would say is not quite as good, but imo theres nothing in it, i'm just being picky :p Probably a bit less experience than the others.

Ferdinand for me though is the best. He has everything. He's the only genuine world class defender in england.

Henchoz doesn't appear to be the player he was, but i still think he's good enough.
