the Juve comment was defo' out of order, as was Reds gag too. Probably misjudgement I hope. I for one am glad the stadium didn't collapse or burn down, its only a game of football after all. Yeh I know what Shanks said but our club of all clubs know that the statement was either erronious or said tongue in cheek.
All that said, can I ask a question. Cloughie used to say that Shilton was worth ten points a season and I wouldn't argue with him. Given that, how many points a season is Fergusons intimidation of referees worth? I mean FFS, they got absolutely every single contentious call today. I thought they were thoroughly outclassed for long periods and end up winning due entirely to one-eyed refereeing. If they're behind, the refs keep playing until somebody 'basketballs' a lay-off to one of their strikers who duly gets them a point. If you are clean through on goal ol' smackead bundles you over without a problem, and if you don't look like scoring in a game you need to win just take a tumble and ol' twelve-yard Riley will do the rest. Incredible.

We are 9 points behind Arsenal, I can see how that is "good" for us but I do not like the fact that Man Utd are above us and that they were the first to beat Arsenal. Even though they won I think Arsenal will stil win the league.
