Gambler's league - £100 to gamble each week.

OK, here's the idea.

You get £100 "virtual money" to gamble each weekend.

You must bet the whole £100.

You can place one bet or a maximum of 3 bets of any value (rounded to whole pounds).
Please place all bets in one post.

You can only bet on the final result, at the odds listed each weekend.
Singles or doubles only.

League positions are determined by the profits/losses each weekend.
That is, lose your £100 and your score is -£100

Final weekend is 19/20th of December, as people have got lives at Xmas.

You can join any week, but I cant have more than 15 people in on it as it will
be a complete ball-ache sorting it out.

Just post up your bet/bets if you are interested.

Final table

S@int                          +£2663
Effes                           +£1261
JoeTerp                      +£1150
J*o*n*D*o*e               +£145
SouthCoastShankly        -£263
madeinUK                      -£402
Dundalk                       -£466
ConnOvar                      -£539
NANNYRED                    -£595
SupitsJonF                    -£595
Greavsie                       -£697
LFC2007                       -£745
BigMick                        -£800
aCe                             -£800
dawson99                     -£800

I'll have a 100 quid double on Man City at 5/6, and Liverpool at 17/20. Pays 339.16 (sorry the computers over here don't have pound signs).

Are you allowed to press up the following week if you're in front Eff', or will it too hard to keep track of?

Not sure what "press up" means Mick.

You cant bet more than £100 each weekend, if that answers your question?

Just thought I'd re-iterate that point.

I'm having £50 on Villa @ 19/10 - profit of £95
and a £50 double on Stoke and Burnley - profit of £182 .

Eff by "press up" I mean to say that if for example my bet comes up, can I have a 300 quid double next week and so on. I think here your proposing a level stakes betting league (ie 100 quid per weekend) but if you let people press up, they can bust out completely or come from a mile back with a couple of winners.

Either way though it's a good idea and I'm all over it.

LFC what's all this "olive branch" stuff, I didn't even know we'd fallen out mate :D No need for an olive branch with me, you're one of the good guys even if we don't always agree.

OK Mick - I get yer.

You can only bet £100 each weekend; keeps it a bit sane.

Just to clarify to people.

Looking at my bets this weekend:

If the Villa one wins, but the double loses my score is £95 - £50 = +£45.

If the villa bet loses but the double wins my score is -£50 + £182 = + £132.

And if both lose my score is -£100
