Liverpool vs Man Utd 19/10 16:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby redshade » Wed Oct 15, 2025 1:11 pm

Old rivals come to Anfield to play their "cup final" performance. Typically they like to raise their level against us. We've been stuttering, 3 loses in a row let's not make it 4. Grav I've heard maybe be out intl duty injury.

Hoping the lads get it gear man, time for new boys to shine, I hope.

Really hope it all clicks for us here on Sunday, would love to see us really hand it to them as they are such a bad side. We cant be letting them get anything from this!!

Need to be better than what we where against Chelsea. More urgency in creating chances that come to something and not just go out not to be beat. Having the home advantage hopefully means we go for it hard from the get go!!

Mamadashvili (don't think Ali is fit).

Bradley.           Virg.       Konate.      Robbo.

                         Grav.        Mac

     Salah.                 Szob.            Wirtz.

                               Etitike.

Loads of options from the bench that we need to use if some didn't show up. Massive game for us and we need a positive result!!

Your choice of FB's is spot on for  grudge game like this plus it demonstrates the 2 new lads haven't bedded in as yet.

As usual anything less than a 7-0 thrashing will be seen as a win for United so I simply hope we get the 3 points. And that Konate wake the fook up. And Mo.

Come Reds!

I think Konate also came back injured? Along with Gravenberch and Endo. So we might have a few key players unavailable for this one.

The three away games we played and lost were terrible both result wise and more importantly performance wise. However, even last season, when we won the league, we struggled against both Palace and Chelsea, also we've actually never beaten Galatasaray on their home ground, so maybe (hopefully) it was just a case of 3 difficult games coming at us one after the other.

In any event, we must get back up and start winning again. United will of course play like a cup final and had it been an away match we might have dropped points again. Even at Anfield it won't be easy but finally having the home advantage after 3 games we must bounce back with a win.

Mac Allister usually has a stinker when he returns from I.D. Hopefully not today!!

Hoping we’ve been busy on the training pitch since the Chelsea ***** show.

Let’s turn up today and kick start our season.  We owe these tw@ts a hiding.

Its a bit worrying that Wirtz starts another big game from the bench. Really think Etitike should have started ahead of Gakpo tbh.
Looking at the warm up here and Salah looks slow as eff!!

If Ali is playing, he saves that goal.
