I'm sorry but getting rid of Toure and Lucas and replacing them with Klavan and Wijnaldum is not good business in my book. I just can't see the logic in moving on long serving players and replacing them with someone who can only be as good, at best.

Echo are now saying we have agreed a £13million deal with Stoke for Joe Allen. Remains to be seen whether Swansea match that offer but midfielder set to leave

IMO LFC have messed up with JA. With his contract running down and having an excellent Euro Championships he is easily worth double the 14m touted. But the player is in the driving seat and not the club.

£13m for someone with less than 12 months on their contract is decent money.

Joe has been a good player for the club and he's really improved as a player since Klopp took charge. I think it's perfect timing for him and the club that he moves on now... He deserves first team football, and we could use the money to strengthen the team.

Hughes is building a decent side there at Stoke, they are close to signing Berahino from West Brom too, if they get him and Joe they will have the likes of Shaquiri, Bojan, Allen, Berahino, Butland, Afellay, Shawcross, Glen Johnson etc etc.

Yeah  :nod , he's building a solid side with some flair. Don't expect them to win much in the way of silverware but they'll be a side who'll provide some upsets next season.

if Joe isn't interested in signing a new contract it's a no brainer to sell

Sign Hector and Dahoud (I've love us to sign Ruben Neves but very unlikely!) and sell a good chunk of the deadwood and I'd say we've had a good window

Yep. Am pretty sure we'll bring in a LB at the very least. However, Dahoud is looking unlikely unless his club has a change of heart.

Toure would be 36 this season mate, that's getting on even for a CB.

with the Wijnaldum deal now done... liverpool-fc-forum/georginio-wijnaldum-official-thread-t31453.html

I think a left back and perhaps a DM and we are about good to go

Our attacking options look great, you just wonder how JK will make game time for all those pkayers, nice problem to have
