Liverpool have signed Aridane Hernández Umpiérrez an 18 year old Centre Back from Spain presumably as a replacement for Palletta ?

Presumably he wasn't under contract, which means we could sign him outside of the transfer window. If he was YTS (or Spanish equivolent) or on a youth contract maybe?

You can read Fuerteventura there, that's the name he's going to use in Liverpool's shirt.

Fuerteventura is one of the smallest islands in the canary islands, and a guy from there becoming a professional player and a Liverpool player has been some sort of big event there. So the lad, has offered the local politicians of the "Cabildo" the use of Fuerteventura as a gesture of pride of where he comes from. So no Aridane but Fuerteventura. :)

About football? I don't know the player, yet another youngster with no primera experience.

I've been to Fuerteventura. Very nice place with good weather all year round except for a few thunder storms in december every know and again.

It's very windy there so it's not too hot. It has not yet been spoilt with buildings like Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
