Posted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 12:19 pmWouldn't blame the lad if he decided to move on, it's a good point that Reina isn't really that much older than him so I suppose he's wondering if he'll ever get a chance. Reina is not world class in my opinion but he's very good, certainly good enough to be our no.1 for years to come.
From what I've seen of Carson he's good and will probably get better with age, but only if he's playing regular football. If he remains in our reserves for the next few years I can see his career stagnating. Doesn't look like Dudek is leaving in January so I'd loan out Carson for the rest of the season to start with.

Posted: Fri Jan 27, 2006 2:19 pmAgreed that Carson probably feels he is fighting a losing battle in terms of playing 1st team football at LFC. The lad probably has an eye on the World Cup squad after some excellent performances for the U21's. He can't be far off with James ageing and no-one else, other than Carson (in my eyes) challenging Robinson!!

Check yourself fool - Carson signed for LFC from Leeds a couple of years ago.
