awful news. He was a promising manager and a great bloke on all accounts.

Rip lad, you'll be missed by both reds and blues and there's not many players who command that.

awful news, and like the article linked earlier in the thread says, you dont think of physically fit athletes being struck like that with cancer. Horrible disease, in so many forms.
I read the article and it sounds particularly nasty what Gary got struck with. So young too.

I knew Gary personally, he lived in the same village as me and his kids go the the same school as mine. To say he was a nice bloke is an understatment, top top bloke more like it. My thoughts go out to his wife Jackie and his 3 kids. RIP mate.

Just assumed that his illness had cleared. 46 is no age to go out, not with a wife and three kids. Absolutely tragic.
