Don’t know about you but I will be looking forward to Fifa 07.

It will be the most realistic football game of the year in terms of player movements, Set plays, new shooting MECHANICS & more.

I will advise you to buy it especially those who had bought Fifa World cup 06.

Pro-evo is good but it depends what you want. I personally prefer a simulation style game rather than an arcade version therefore Fifa wins hand down for me.

I always rated Pro-Evo as better, but I've gotta admit I was impressed with Fifa World Cup.

My mate tells me EA have nicked one of the head programmers for Pro-Evo, might explain the change.

Pro evo all the way, any good gamer would take amazing gameplay over real names, kits etc.

Pro evo has really excellent game play, but better graphics and better commentators are found in Fifa.

How does ProEv win hands down when a new version of FIFA hasn't even been released?

Have you played it yourself? I doubt it.

Hardcore ProEvo fans who never picked FIFA over ProEvo have tested 07 this year, and they're picking it over ProEvolution which is saying something.

In the past, Pro EVo has routinely booted FIFA up it's a*se.

Graphics and copyrights have always been Pro Evo's downfall, and if FIFA have indeed nabbed the head programmer of PE, then I expect a mass exodus from the true players' game.

(All those except the die-hards who have a sense of loyalty! :D)

I've played most football franchises since the advent of the PS2 and the Xbox.

ProEvo, Winning Eleven and Fifa.

Though I'll admit, ProEvo in past years used to be better than FIFA, I'll only say that, it was because of its gameplay.

Past editions of FIFA were too rigid. Its gameplay was too mechanical, whereas ProEvo had more realistic simulations. Plus, FIFA had this horrid way of taking free-kicks and corners. While the free-kick one was okay I guess, because it helped you aim better, it took awhile getting used to how the power-bar worked. In ProEvo, all you had to do was move your player, kick, and watch the ball go in.

But FIFA 06 changed all that. Gone were those free-kick bars. And the gameplay had considerably improved. It was, in my opinion, a huge step forward in the FIFA Franchise and finally, they had a game that was capable of challenging ProEvo's. Gameplay-wise.

Plus FIFA had more leagues than ProEvo, official kits, real-player's names, more stadiums, better commentators, (although I preferred John Motson and Ally McCoid (sp) to Clive Tydsley and Andy Gray) and that little thing where they had a team of former greats.. which I thought was really cool.

FIFA this time, was a better all-around game than ProEvo.

.. though it wouldnt hurt if FIFA also took up that thing where you can change and edit your own formations.. Some of us get tired of the same old 4-4-2 and what not every other game.
