Listening to the post match phone in on Radio Merseyside and a lot of Evertonians are saying his ego is too big and he's too cocky. They reckon being the England keeper and getting to the WC semi final has gone to his head.

Its like Joe Hart, he kept on getting away with mistakes because he was Englands no 1 until Pep arrived and dropped him

Wolves could be doing us a MASSIVE favour here.
If it stays like this then we have it in our own hands to be 9 (yes NINE) points clear tonight

Southampton 3-1 down at half time to City. I can't see them getting anything put of this, which is fine as it will make it all the sweeter when we smash them on the 3rd.

Fernandinho seems to be back which is a huge boost for them. They seem to have missed him for those 3 or 4 games more than they have missed De Bruyne! Would have been nice if he was out at least until they played the match against us.

It's their defence that's suspect.

I think our front 3 will enjoy a second Christmas when we face them.

Its a tough ask to play 2 games in 5 days at his age though (Fernandinho is 33), particularly when you are just returning from injury. He may play on Thursday but it's doubtful that he'll be at his best.

The right outcome so far from the Spurs game, for us anyway

Yup best outcome for us. Credit has to be given to OGS the way his got them playing. We all knew they have got talented players they were just managed horribly by maureen.

I think they will give us a hard match at old twatford.

Btw how many times De gea has saved them is beyond me.

I'd prefer if mannure are still in the hunt for top4 when they face City. At least it will give them something to play for.

Spurs are 9 points behind us now, 10 if you take our +16 GD into account.

Spuds were never in it. Their squad is too thin and they are famous bottlers whenever they have to show up and make a statement.

Their next match is Fulham...then they have to play Chelsea (league cup), Palace (FA Cup), Watford (league) and Newcastle (league) in the space of 8 days. With Kane injured and Son away, their season could be over by then.
