5. Some easy chances for derby at the end. They could have scored 2.
Mascherano is tremendous. Should get the nod over Sissoko.

Posted: Sun Sep 02, 2007 9:36 amCracking result and despite the manner of the win ie Derby were sh1 te, we took plenty of chances and last season I reckon it might have been 1-0 or 2-0 given the same opposition and chances. OK the defending was poor and they never tested us, but I'm happy that they were that easy to beat as we've got some confidence, improved our GD and played Derby while they are still finding their feet. We've got four away games in September and only Brum at home so we should need to up our level of performance. I certainly can't see Pompey, Porto and Wigan being that accommodating on their own patch.
