Landon Donovan he can play either centre/right mid and can play as a forward. he is 24 and plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy is the MLS league.

he has played over in europe before for Bayer Leverkusen but at the age of 17. some people may remember his worst ever perfomance for Leverkusen being against us in the UEFA Champions League. since then he has gone back to MLS league.

these his stats

Full name:Landon Timothy Donovan

Landon Donovan is complete rubbish.  He has been hailed as the great American footballer, but Landycakes is :censored:!!

He has done well in the MLS (which isn't complete :censored: anymore), but he went to play at Leverkusen, and couldn't even make the starting squad.  After he forced a move to the LA Galaxy (the glamor team in MLS), he returned to the US and was hailed like he conquered the Bundesliga.

In all actuallity, he is a media hyped :censored:, who wants to be a big fish in a small pond.  Internationally, he hides in the big matches, and plays great against the minnows.

The only players with skills to even make a squad in the Prem are Beasley, McBride and Convey.  The US has a great manager, and rubbish players.

I don't think Donovan is a bad player.  Just an average player maybe, who has been lucky enough to play in World Cups and Champions League campaigns.

I'm of an opinion he could make it in a Premier League side but I wouldn't spend more than, say for instance in total, what we've spent on the likes of Zenden, including the free transfer, or a low transfer fee, plus average wages.

Not a player to wet yourself over though, but has enough experience in big competitions to have a second look at maybe.

No thanks. Not good enough. He played for leverkusen and was absolute sh.ite. Had a belter world cup in 2002 but hes better off in the american league where he is at his best. Maybe he moved to europe too early at 17, hes not a bad player but hes not in any way good enough for LFC.

EXACTLY like Jack, yes.

Infact, I think we should sign him purely because of that similarity!  :D
