The Premiership - General Discussion

Jose Mourinho's first game in charge of big-spending Chelsea ended in a stuttering 1-1 draw at lower league side Oxford United on Saturday. Mourinho fielded a strong side for the friendly including new striker Mateja Kezman who equalised in the second half after Chelsea fell behind to a Tommy Mooney strike.

Tommy who ?

Means absolutely nothing....

arsenal beat barnet 10-1 today. So what do we do? Tell them that they can keep the title till 2006?

He know's it means nothing, but hes making a point of how strong the team was Chelsea put out yet the only managed a score draw.

Even though it's only a friendly, ill garantee once players get out they want to win, its just the nature of the sport.

I know friendly's are not a true barometer to gauge how a team will fare in the coming season but I offered this snippet as a light hearted aside at the all conquering Chelsea . :)  :grinning:  :grinning:

I never thought Barnet were serious title contenders anyway and their chances in the Champions league..well no chance!
