Old Fathead is gone

underland have parted company with manager Steve Bruce.

Bruce becomes the first Premier League manager to leave his job this season after two wins in the first 13 games.

"It is my job to act in the best interests of our football club and I can assure everyone that this is not a decision that I have taken lightly," chairman Ellis Short said.

"Sadly results this season have simply not been good enough and I feel the time is right to make a change."




There were many many rumours on twitter that this was about to be announced.................same day as Gary Speeds death, but was held until now

if they had any sense they'd take rafa. it won't happen though. the likes of hughes and o'neill are bizarrely rated higher by the majority of clueless fans in this country.

Christ ! for a minute there I thought you meant Sabre (our main man in Spain ) had left the forum .

Stuff Steve Bruce, I'm just happy that Sabre's still with us.
