sell Carroll and Hendo!!

seriously tho its absolutely unbelevable. I'm happy with how things are at Liverpool right now and evey single one of the lads has my backing. 4 games into a season let's get some perspective here
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

JFT 96 - Gone but never forgotten

Agree, Carroll will be fine. He's coming back to full fintess and is also adapting his game to our methods.  He'll come good, mark my words  :nod

I agree with you mate on Carroll. He cost more than Rooney, Hernandez, Dzeko and all the other top scorers in the PL and yet he is no where near their standards.

All those rationalizations put out by fans like "Give him more time", "He's not fully fit", "He's not used to the Liverpool way", "He's still young", "We bought him for 5 years" (this last one comes from our beloved manager btw) are all B.S. justifications just because we paid 35 million for him imho. If we had got him for free, would those same people say the same thing about him? I think most definitely they won't but love to see him go the way of Cole, Poulsen, Soto, Ngog, Jovanovic etc together with the rest of the deadwood.

I'm sure Newcastle are laughing at us now like we did at Chelsea when we sold overpriced, over the hill  El Sulko to them.

Carroll was benched in the last 2 PL games I suspect Kenny knew Carroll is not up to the mark. Why didn't he bench Suarez instead?

And how many were writing off Dzeko last season?

Don't be so fickle, it's embarrassing.

Say Carroll under-performs all season but comes good next (aka Dzeko), it'll be worth every penny. And more so because faith was put in a young striker with clear talents.

Two things I'm sure about for the season - Carroll coming good and you hiding away from this thread when he does. Easy to kick someone when he's down...

I hope you will be right about him coming good next season and I am wrong and I'll be more than happy to eat my words. But so far I just cannot see the potential in him. Nice to know all of you are optimistic about him.

Another note, this is a forum where anyone can voice out anything they like, including any displeasures or issues we may have as long as it's related to the club. And not only for honeymoon news. If a ship is sinking, it is wise to raise it out unlike the sinking Titanic where a band was still playing as if nothing was happening. I'm not saying we're sinking btw. But the point is, whenever I raise out anything I am unhappy about, many of you start labelling me with all sorts of names which is not healthy IMHO

Can you really not see any potential in the lad??  I think there is so much potential its frightening.

The guy wins pretty much everything in the air and if we can get players around him he will cause so many problems.  At the moment we seem to be hitting balls up to him and expect him to do it all on his own, thats not how he plays and never has been. Not only does Andy need to learn how we play, but the rest of the team need to learn how to play with him in the team

It also looks to me like he is currently lacking confidence, that is something us fans can help him with.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

There was plenty of potential in him when he was top scorer before his injury last season.
