For the 1st time here I have a question for everyone interested in LFC`s future ! Where is the club in 3 -5 years. What is the long term goal- and how are they gonna get there ? By moneyspending, developing new players themselves or..... ?
What is more important Winning prem league or success in champ league ( I know the one is depending on the other, but anyway !)

Hiya Thor, I think you've more or less answered your own question.
In terms of any club progressing you will need to spend money on players whilst at the same time developing your own youth.
League or CL success , I think most people want to see us win the premiership over CL success although personally I'd prefer a top 3 finish in the premiership and a champions league trophy, as the latter in my opinion gives a higher profile and a significantly increased income .

Premiership, why because we will be respected more by the critics out there. Winning the CL will give the critics something to do

"Well they won Champions League but they aren't good enough to win the Premiership" thats what you could expect from the papers,etc.

Can they win back the position they had in the 70`s and 80`s - before ManU and Arsenal took the lead winning premierships and doubles ? I think it`s time they move up there again - and I think 1 key to the success is continuity both at the leader level and as far as the squad is concerned. Surely you have to renew the squad, but the way some managers do it these days- with changing the team just for change`s sake - I do not think that`s the way to glory !

Are you a Liverpool supporter, no offence but you do ask if "they" can do it and not "we".

i saya mixture of buying players, having some old school boys in teh team and some newbies. Partridge has done fantastic so far and good on benitez for showing some faith. didier will have to do his bit for the next couple of months but so will Salif and we just have to stay focused and keep on track so when Stevie G gets back we can still concentrate on both the league and CL
Premiership is everything for me though

As I sit up here in the cold north I don`t consider myself being in a position to say "we" !
And to MRS.Granny - english being my 2nd language - it isn`t all that bad ? I mean - when I see some of the language presented by natives on here - i`m not ashamed ! :alien:
