Biglia was offered to Lazio too :D . I don't think he's ready for a big club but I may be wrong. I don't know the player at all.

Nope. It's just Rafa being a hard b@stard in negotiations. Unlike that soft clown we had before.

You'll get piles from sitting on the fence - c'mon, spit it out...what are you trying to say ?  :D

I am not so sure this transfer is written in stone just yet...

Perez is stubborn and Rafa is stubborn with even Marca stating
that a deal is far off since both clubs plainly refuse to budge one inch.

RM won't go higher than €27+3 million and Liverpool wants €35+3 million.

I can actually see him staying now, even if it looks more likely he will be going. Problem is that one part will likely have to cave in....

I think that this transfer is a long way away. He would not have come back to Melwood if the deal was anywhere near a done deal.

We may well yet hold on to him.

The problem is how long can Rafa continue to play hard ball, especially if H&G are expecting a bit of money to help THEM out. If this deal goes belly up, I don't think H&G will be too pleased.

Arghh why don't we just lower the price and take Negredo and Sneijder off their hands, come on Rafa stop being a stubborn b@rstard and make the deal.

Why the hell should Rafa lower his demands ?? its simple - either madrid pay up what rafa wants or he stays and we carry on as normal .

Im glad for once we arent lowering any demands and are sticking to them and playing hardball for once .

Why is Xabi in Melwood and not Oslo? I was looking forward to hurling abuse at him. Only joking Nanny, I would have been nice.

I wonder when this episode will end... Season is approaching and if we were eventually going to sell him i'd rather we have our replacements now rather than later!

Again you start typing when it would be prudent to maybe think about what I wrote first.

If Rafa got say £15 million plus Sneijder and Negredo then he would have cash in his pocket plus two excellent players, it would be a far more profitable deal and would be better for the squad and our chances of winning the title. I think he is maybe a being a tiny bit stubborn again and cutting off his nose to spite his face.
