BBC are reporting sort of the same thing, Rafa has toldthe player he can go but they must meet the £30mil, as this has not happend Rafa has picked him to tonights game.

is Aquilani a bit of a sick note? - is it true that Roma fans are happy that he is possibly going? - is he a red herring in this transfer circus?

I had another go later on mate, but with my comp crashing I think I made a mistake somewhere.

These are what I got anyway :-

With Alonso won 8 drew 5 lost 2 (only 15 games and I thought he played 19 unless they were sub appearances?

without Alonso won 13 drew 8 lost 2

I want Alonso gone now, i'm sorry yeh he's a good player and all but there
is better players in the world for sure.

I would take the money and run, our midfield just doesnt produce enough goals, i want us
to rip the oppo apart this season, take the chances presented and not waste them.

If Torres and Gerrard are not fit who have we got to step up to the plate? no friggin body, with
the money from Alonso we could have that extra cutting edge that would take us all the way.

That's why I would just go for David Villa, if we sold Xabi 26m and just add the rest towards Villa for 40m and just throw them Babel or Voronin.We would be full of goals with Torres,Villa and Gerrard

Well im gonna go an do rafa, im off to spend the last of my tranfer holiday budget ,im going to a place called River Island cracking looking bikini there , deffo a scorer :laugh:

hmm not too sure how sneaky we were about torres, I can remember loads of gossip talk before he joined, and there was a fair bit of will he won't he before that glorious day when he put pen to paper.
