the main trouble is RM refusal to meet our price. if u cant meet the asking price, kindly get lost and stop harassing our players!
this is what RM is doing, acting like a baby throwing a tantrum when the toy is too expensive but still dead on demanding it.

I think some people on will have to be kept on "suicide watch" if Xabi does leave....its the end of the world for LFC if he goes.....or so some would have us believe?....FGS.....lets move on! take the money and buy a class replacement there are plenty out there who would "die2 to be given the chance to wear that famous Red shirt!. :nod

Look if I was Spanish and Madrid came for me I would go end of story .... yes it's a massive loss but it might well mean a change of tactics with Gerrard back in midfield and someone like Benayoun playing off Torres and that is something I would love to see. Lets be positive guys.

Unfortunately Alonso is a key player for us. Its unlikely we find someone that can fit right into his position and deliver what alonso did. Its more likely that Gerrard is pushed back into midfield, breaking up the gerrard/torres partnership that has been very successful. Gerrard is not as good as alonso in the "alonso role" either. Maybe the replacement will turn out good, maybe not, but the idea was to build upon a team that almost won, not build a new one.

Id probably replace Xabi coz Stevie plays better in the hole behind Torres. Mascherano is back in training btw so i thinks its defo Alonso who's going.
