The Alonso Thread - hands in transfer request

This thread has run and ruin!
I said in the summer that i felt Xabi was lacking a bit in over all effort!
Also i mentioned that Xabi needed to try more and was not giving 100%,whether due to taking his position for granted or just laziness??I dont know!
Now I feel he is giving more, trying harder...looking a better player!
Well done Xabi...about :censored: time!!
Welcome back and keep it up!

Riise is the answer to BOTH questions mate.

Alonso and Gerrard both play at there best when they have one another to bounce off and play as a pairing.

They have had ONE good Game together in over 2 years, I think you may be going a little over the top there mate.

Chelsea last season at Anfield for a start.

Am not going to sit here and name every performance they've played well in together. Theres been some quality performances from them both when they've played. Wigan, Everton, United etc.

Bar one Chelsea game I can't think of any where Mascherano and Gerrard played well as a central pairing. Even in that game they didn't really work as a team, they just played well individually, they certainly didn't bounce of each other.

No problems, but Wigan ? We won 1-0 away (Masch played)
We drew 1-1 at home Alonso and Masch played. The season before it was Zenden and Alonso and the other was 2006 before Masch even arrived ! Everton I already gave you and the mancs he was partnered by Masch ?

8-0 Against Besiktas  Masch and Gerrard
4-1 Porto  Masch and Gerrard
4-0 Marseille Masch and Gerrard
4-1 Portsmouth Masch and Gerrard
Maybe they didn't bounce but we sure scored a few   :D

Mascha and Gerrard played well together last season when they were paired together. On paper Alonso and Gerrard maybe more compatable, in practise though thats hardly ever been the case. Where as Mascha and Gerrard have put that into practise on a more consistent basis.

This season though Alonso seems to of finally pulled his finger out, and the combination of him and Gerrard looks good. Lets hope it continues.

Yes, pity I didn't mention that. You're very efficient, you defended Alonso in the Barry Saga to give stick to Rafa  :D

For the sake of priorities you have defended Alonso a couple of times yes!!

I occasionally make jokes but none as funny as your post ..... thats my opinion too :p

I bring lots of articles on here, do I have to check each one to make sure it doesn't affect your sensibilities ?

You tell me! I'm not the one to take rests in the forum because I'm so terribly upset of what I read !!

The irony :D

Nah. This route isn't good, you know where it leads. You start calling pathetic someone, you receive back, and the tennis match starts. Let's stick to footie instead: it's more fun, it's less boring for other members, and you're a pretty good poster that brings interesting stuff (and not only articles like the other day with your post of players that become good, those posts were good)

Yeah but I don't start moaning and crying cos someone makes A JOKE about a player or because some manager says he's slow. Your so bias towards Alonso its a joke, every time someone mentions his name on here you can bet money the next reply will be yours. It must be love.

And the funny thing is ..... he doesn't even play for your favourite team.

The irony :D

Alonso walks into a sperm donor bank,
"I'd like to donate some sperm" he says to the receptionist.
"Certainly Sir" replies the receptionist, "have you donated before?".
"Yes" replies Alonso "you should have my details on your computer".
"Oh yes, I've found your details" says the receptionist "but I see you're going to need help.I will get you an assisstant"
"Why do I need help?" Alonso asks. The receptionist replies
"Well Xabi , it says on your record that you're a useless w@nker

I know plenty Spanish jokes too Sabre but your the biggest.
