I hear Arsenal also wants to buy Alonso. But Liverpool doesn't want to sell Alonso to a competitor.
I guess Fener has the best cards.

Well, somebody needs to make a move.

LFC thinks if they sell Xabi before signing Barry, then Villa will ask more for Barry.
FB thinks if they sign Xabi before they get rid of one "foreign" player, they will not be able to get much for them.

Come oon. Somebody do something :D

Latest news! On the 28th Xabi signed a "pre-contract" with FB for 12 Million Pounds. He also agreed for a 12 million pounds to himself in 3 + 1 years. In this case, if Xabi is tried to be sold to another team other than FB, FB will have first right to sign him. However, we hear that he would like to stay at LFC. ???

No one at the top of his game would go to Turkey, fullfcukingstop.

The lad was 99% transfered to Juventus and if he is to go, then he should go to Italy where he could continue to flourish.

Only Kewell goes to Turkey, because he´s finished and they´re too fcuking soft to realise.

Anelka, Guiza, Aragones, Appiah, Alex, Lugano

That's all you need.

Liverpool Star heading for SHOCK £9.5m exit:

A cheeky offer from a former Chelsea boss for a Liverpool midfielder who is also attracting interest from Arsenal.

Inter Milan according to reports in the UK press are about to make a bid for Liverpool’s Spanish midfield star Alonso but not at the inflated price that Liverpool are demanding.Liverpool fresh from the controversial signing of Robbie Keane have admitted via their manager Rafa Benitez that they now have to sell in order to buy again, Benitez confirmed that if Liverpool want to buy Gareth Barry then some players will have to go and the only player that Liverpool will sell that can raise the required funds is Alonso.

Inter are prepared to bid but will offer nowhere near the amount that Liverpool want, Inter will pay no more than €12 million for a player who it seems is no longer wanted at Anfield, in fact some of the decisions of Benitez in the transfer market has left some pundits scratching their heads, and it seems that clubs around Europe are ready to take advantage of Liverpool’s strange transfer dealings.

Inter have quietly strengthened their side and will see Alonso as the final piece that Mourinho seeks in order to have his team ready for the upcoming season, Liverpool fans on the other hand must be dreading what is going to happen next.
Jose Mourinho is being quite wise here. He knows that Rafa wants cash and he knows that, for some reason, the Spanish boss is more than happy to offload Xabi. Therefore, the newly-installed Inter boss is putting a low bid in and hopes to get a bargain. There is also the interesting facet of this saga that includes Arsenal. Could Benitez be considering taking a smaller fee from the Serie A side over selling to a Premier League rival?

                   --------------------------------------------------------------------

12million euros!!!!! £9.5million Wtf! I think it is time a line was drawn under all this cr@p. Keep Alonso, and miss out on Barry if we have to., but you don't sell players like Alonso for UNDER £10MILLION EVER.
