as much as i hate man utd

i am saddened to hear of van der saars wife suffering a stroke

my thoughts are with him and his family at this time

I agree, when you wrote that I didn't know the story but I've read a bit and I have to agree.

I heard she got the all clear the other day so there's some good news for him. I hope he stays there by her side for a while tho
