its a big problem, do you

spend the money on the new ground and only sell players to buy players but never being able to get the best players, this way you risk the team missing the top 4 year on year

or do you

forget the new ground and spend all the money on new players but miss out on the money the new ground would bring in.

So are you saying weve got millions to spend then,  ??? but its going on the ground, i never knew we had all this money were has it materialised from all of a sudden

no

but the owners are getting the funds to build the ground, i take it that the rights to the name will be used to make the money.

but what i am saying that all fans have beeing going on about is the new ground , well the lack of the new ground, so they are sorting it, we can not have it both ways.

it might be a good idea if G&H asked the fans what they would like, 100mil spent on the start of the new grounf or 100mil spent on new players.

So tell me oh wise one , how much money , when are we gonna strart digging , and whos bought the naming rights, and when are they gonna sort it, YOU HAVE SAID THEY HAVE GOT THE MONEY, RIGHT

yES THE TWO FAT BAS.TARDS CARE,

well going by what Liverpool City Council said the otherday it will be in April.

as for the name, i have no idea, the last i ever heard about who was putting in bids Red Bull had talks with their PR to see if its something they would like................lets just hope its not virgin or durex :D

lol true. but things are going on, you might have worked out that i am nou talking about the news hubs lol but for the last two days they have been full of talk about players coming to the club and the new ground being bult...well if it was all true G&H MUST BE ABOUT TO SPEND 140MIL ON THE CLUB PMSL AND WE KNOW THAT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

point being is that its dark days for the club and the owners knw they need to do something about it, it culd be a case that our player budget is about to be cut due to them paying off Rafa his 20mil. (not sure about that amount)

There are plenty of good Spanish strikers and if Torres continues to play in a team that struggles to beat a team like Reading, soon the Spanish coach will pick a striker that has the goals. Torres will then realize he has to move on.

Hang on a minute.

So, first everyone is saying:

"Dont blame the manager, blame the players".

Now this thread is saying:

"Dont blame the players if they leave, it's not their fault".

It sounds like quotes of mothers of mass murderers who say:

"Our Billy is a lurvurly lad - he wouldnt herrrt anyone!"

Yea - right

It really is approaching the point where I am finding it difficult to imagine exactly how well we'd have to go for the remainder of the season in order for the manager to maintain sensible credibility. I mean, if we ran on into fourth from here, will that seriously be enough to convince people that we haven't massively underachieved? (in this sense rafa will be hoisted by his own patard in many respects). Are we not in all honesty just marking time, it certainly looks as if that's how the players see it.

I know I'll invite hoots of derision by saying this, anger, frothing at the mouth, controversy, posts and pms from my stalker but I may as well say it anyway. I think rafa is gone at the end of the season almost regardless of what happens from here on in, and I think he as good as knows it. I think the players as good as know it too. I think our new manager will be Jose Mourinho.

And I wish them all the best, should they depart.

I agree with this completely.

Torres/Gerrard would walk into a world XI... but they are surrounded by players such as lucas, who wouldnt get in a Fulham XI.

Poor players drag you down, they starve you of service... thus make you look bad. Our two attacking players at Villa... Gerrard had a SOLITARY chance which Friedel brilliantly tipped over. Meanwhile Torres was feeding on nothing, we didnt play one decent through ball to him the ENTIRE game (he got ONE chance when he fed off a deflected scrap in the 93rd minute which he buried)

Could you imagine Torres.... with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and co feeding him through balls?? Im talking 55 goals in a season plus.

On a basic level here (school playground)... im sure we have all been in a team with god awful players who you hate playing with, do nothing with the ball... to the extent you refuse to pass to them. Its damn frustrating when dross ruin your team... ruin passes that you make (they dont read), they affect your performance and make you look bad, drag you down to their level.

If we still have the ilk of Lucas, Kuyt in the team come Summer... then as much as it pains me, i wish Gerrard/Torres all the best at their new clubs, because the pain of seeing top players suffer being surrounded by dross..im frustrated for them.

Seriously, we cant blame the owners of our situation/target (to achieve top 4). With our current squad, we are good enough to beat any team when we have the luck. Not to mention we have 2 players voted to be in the world FIFA XI by the professionals.

Now, it's all up to the manager as he's the man that has the power to change things even if we dont get the money to buy top quality players in the next transfer window.

No, it's Hick's and Gilletts fault that we didn't beat Reading.

I can just feel it in me bones!

After reading Torres' book im confident he will be here for many years to come. Basically unless the team he goes to has 10 spansish players + spanish staff he wont move.

This forum is as stale as our :censored: team. Too many listen to that idiot lakes. Go and shove your cockney bank mates up your :censored: ya mong.

I hope for gerrard and torres that they do leave this club. Its a shambles from top to bottom. In rafa we trust most of us say.

I haven't trusted the :censored: for years. Istanbul was great, so too the fa cup. But, lets get one thing straight. Were the wins because of rafa's tactical genius? No they weren't, they were because of certain players putting in the performances of their careers.

I'm so fed up of rafa, only bought two really great players. Guess what? He's already sold one of them, and still persists with ogre of a :censored: Kuyt. Lucas, dont get me started on that fraud.

rafa's tactics are a main reason that the media dont like us. Because, its boring, stagnating football. Its like italian football, but they've forgot the pass and move part. Which, basically is the main part.

Too many times, i forget how much, :censored: teams get draws or wins against us. Why's that? No creativity, burst from midfield, raiding down the wings etc.

Two holding midfielders? Go and ram that up your back passage an all.

Im :censored: furious with this :censored:. Im rambling now, if i saw rafa just now i think id be in a cell ten minutes later. The fat spanish :censored:

He bought Agger, Johnson, Skrtle, Torres, Kuyt, Riera and many more. All of which are good players.
