How about a bit of trivia

Steve Stautnon played under Big Ron at Villa, Kenny at Liverpool, and he's Irish so Giles and Charlton may have managed him.

my guess Staunton?

Giles briefly managed Ireland in the early 1970s when Steve Staunton was still in nappies so it couldn't be him.

I thought it was John Wark but he only played for Ipswich, LIverpool and Middlesboro.

If Giles only mages Ireland in the eary 70's i cant see it bieng a player from his time there ,with Kenny startin in the mid 80's, who else did he manage ???  We need clues St Mike ??? ??? ??? ???

i'm thinkin peter beardsley but not 100% sure.
i think johnny giles managed vancouver whitecaps for a while and assume Ron atkinson was in charge of man utd when beardsley had a very brief spell there. Jack charlton while in charge of newcastle, bobby robson and graham taylor while england managers and kenny at Liverpool.

this isn't LFC, but a good question I think.

Which team withdrew their entry in 1966,1994 and 1998,before participating for the first time in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifiers?

I had thought of Peter Beardsley for a brief while but I couldn't figure out the Giles connection.

Senegal were debutants in 2002 but qualifiers .eerr China North Korea some one tike that  ???
