Hi,

I have a 32 inch Philips HDTV and its going mad right now, it started to change channels by itself, I have no clue why, anyone knows anything about this? or how to fix it? Everytime I put it on AV, it changes to HDMI channel, then to Channel 1, then back again to AV.

:(

I've seen lads with watches that are able to switch channels and do that for fun in TV Shops just to wind up the owner.

Another possibility is that your remote control is damaged, if you focus your remote control with your cell phone camera you can see the infrareds (quickest way to know if a remote control is working). Make sure the remote control isn't sending anything.

I told you that running it on oil would gum up the works mate :D

Take the batteries out and leave them out for at least an hour. Turn off the tv, take all the cable connectors out of the TV and then put them back.

Idiot, you don't get it do you? if I ask a techy or look for a manual, I'm wasting money asking a the techy and time searching for the manual somewhere beneath my laundry, so posting a topic is easier.

You should use your brain sometimes, now run along  :rasp  :D
