The Hillsborough Justice Campaign Shop is now located at 178 Walton Breck Road, opposite the Albert pub. For the Steaua Bucharest home game to be played on Thursday 27th November 2003 (kick-off 20:00) the shop will be open from 17.30 until 5 minutes before kick-off. The shop will also be open for a short time after the game (to be confirmed)?
Everyone is welcome to call in and talk to members of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign team and meet fellow Reds. Please make the HJC shop your rendezvous point for meeting your friends before and after any Liverpool home game. Everyone will be made very welcome. The Hillsborough Justice Campaign shop opens its doors to everyone - whoever you are, wherever you’re from, all are welcome. Upstairs, there is a large meeting room at the front. On match day, everyone is welcome to sit and have a chat with members of the team. The meeting room includes a kitchen area, with facilities for making hot drinks. Lavatory facilities are also available.

There are many items on-site for you to purchase - books, badges, a variety of T-shirts, posters and many other items. All monies raised will go towards the Campaign for Justice and for the upkeep of the shop. There are many pictures on the shop walls relating to Hillsborough and Liverpool FC in general. These extend into a walkway at the rear of the shop. At the rear of the shop, plans are in place to erect a garden of remembrance.

The Greatest European Story Ever Told
Finally after many months of work an epic piece of Liverpool writing is complete. The Greatest European Story Ever Told (GESET) stands at over 100 pages and covers every match the Reds have played in Europe since our first game against KR Reykjavik in August 1964. It tells the stories of the ties and interweaves many humourous fan recollections regarding their adventures away from home. It also includes some of the songs inspired by and sung on those trips. A small taster is included at the end of this article.

The story has been put together by regular RAWK contributor Wooltonian who has acted as chief writer and editor to the contributions from Reds across a series of forums and websites.

And now, as promised, a little section to whet your appetite ...

The semi-final against Inter Milan was one of Anfield’s greatest-ever nights and Little Wooly‘s second match in Europe and what a night it was, coming as it did just three days after Liverpool had won the F.A. cup for the first time in its long history.

Gordon Milne, who missed the final through injury and Gerry Byrne, injured in the final itself, were sent out to parade the famous trophy before the game and the players took to the field to a cauldron of noise. The Italians seemed unnerved despite their experience and being used to playing in front of hostile crowds.

But this was different. They had probably never played in front of a crowd that was so close to the pitch and seemed unprepared for the emotion that greeted the F.A. Cup winners. Roger Hunt’s brilliant early volley and a superbly-worked free-kick finished off by Ian Callaghan unnerved them even more but in between those two superb goals an error by Ron Yeats had seen the great Mazzola strike an equaliser past Tommy Lawrence into the Kop goal.

The Kop took up the challenge laid down by the Italians and started screaming at the top of their lungs “Attack Attack, Attack Attack Attack”. The noise was deafening, over 20,000 scousers in the Kop all screaming at once nearly burst me eardrums.

Liverpool pushed forward with even more resolve. I’ve never seen so much effort put in on a pitch before, everyone found an extra gear, players and supporters alike. Then the "Ghost" Lawler had a goal disallowed. “NEVER” shouted me arl fellah; “BxLLOCKS ” shouted me Uncle Jerry. A word I’d not heard before, I must store that one away I thought, I’m sure it’ll come in handy one day.

Liverpool pushed on and on, roared on by the Kop and then “Gooooaaaaaallll”. Ian St. John restored the home side’s two-goal advantage just a quarter of an hour from the end. But would it be enough?

The Italians left the ground with “Go back to Italy” sung to the tune Santa Lucia ringing in their ears. If this was European football thought Wooly, I must make sure I never miss a game. The only down side to the night was spending half the time getting pushed off my bar on the Kop into the torrents of urine that flowed steadily down the steps of the Kop like mini waterfalls. I smelt ruddy awful, like a dosser off the Pier Head, but a wash would put that right when I got home; in a tin bath in front of the fire, in Liverpool 19.
