Woud be if it were in-game or even in-engine, but it's not.Any good adventure games for the xbox? Only like them and platform ones.
Mass Effect 1 (and soon to be part 2) are possibly the best two games of the genre on both consoles. If sci-fi isn't your cup of tea, then Oblivion should be. Slow paced with tonnes of depth that will last months in doses. There's also Fable 2. In the next few months there will be Alan Wake which looks absolutely stunning. Sort of like a mystery detective tale, mixed with the X-Files, Resident Evil and Alone In The Dark.
Platform games, sadly are a dying breed unless you own a Wii. I can only think of one on the 360, and that's Banjo Kazooie. Was amazing on the N64 back in the day. Not so great on 360. Should be good simple fun, though.

Not many new turned based strategy games like Civilisation out at the moment apart from Hearts of Iron 3, which is fairly hardcore strategy.
Anno 1404/Dawn of Discovery (US title) is quite good: slow paced resource management.
Empire: Total War is very good if you have the hardware to manage it.
As for Ciggy, it depends on what type of adventure you're looking for. If you want an RPG, Fallout 3 is a good action RPG, but be prepared to put a minimum 30 hours into it to get any value from it and it will take 70-80 hours to complete.
Fable 2 is a nice, simplistic RPG/adventure.
There are loads of Japanese Final Fantasy type jrps on the X360.
Secret of Monkey Island:SE is on X360, as are Wallace & Gromit and Sam & Max: Season One, which are traditional point and click adventures.
As for Leisure Suit Larry, its been widely derided as the WORST game on X360, steer well clear.

Don't have to be Its a CGI trailer but tbh bioware story is awesomesause.I put it up to get people in the mood for how good the story is going to be as that is reason I play RPG/adventer games for the story not the geeky graphics(tho they are a plus).
