is it much different from the halo series?

There is health this time, you get shot, your sheild goes down and your health bar goes down again, so you gotta find a health pack as fast as you can. I also noticed that jumping from a high place is not a good idea anymore, remember your not master chief :D

Its urban warfare mostly, not much changed interms of weapons, though you start with a cool @ss modified battle assualt rifle, plus their is a new tactical map mode. The gameplay and campaigns are awesome as always!!!!!

I signed up on the Playstation site on the day they launched them. It was a bit of luck as it wasn't openly advertised.

It took me  while to download, 3.5 gig file and more downloading on the fly.

Still not played it yet though - the times the servers are open are a bit restrictive with work etc. 5 - 8 and midnight til 4. Will be on it 2moro though!!

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass if it's for kids (or even yourself if you're into those games).

Chronicles of Mystery: Curse of the Ancient Temple might be up your street if you're into the point-and-click puzzle solving type games.

You cant go wrong with Pokemon Ciggy. Dont use Pikachu though, hes rubbish ! :D

Been playing Resident Evil 5 on the PC to death. Loads better than the console versions and free online play. Im having to fight with the kids to get on the bugger ! Of course having an X-box pad for the PC also helps a lot.

Played MAG tonight. First impressions....

It plays a LOT like COD4. Its a slightly bit slower, but aside from that - button config, weapons, add-ons (dot sight, grip etc) are lifted straight outta COD4. Even the crosshair turns into 8 points when you hit an opponent, so much is the comparison.

3 factions make up the game - can't remember the names, but its basically the Yanks (all heavy gear, good weapons, slow as sh!t), the Afghans (slower weapons, harder to shoot and get a bead on yada yada) and the Euro's (techno advanced, bit lightweight). If anyone has played Dawn at War, think Space Marines, Orks and Eldar/Tau, should give you a good idea.

With it being my first go, I couldn't get my head around the respawns - its seemed to take far too long to re-spawn and you spent too much time on the sidelines. If you are wounded as opposed to shot dead, you have an option not to 'bleed-out' and writhe on the floor until you either get shot dead or healed by a team-mate.

You are placed in a unit (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie etc) and the game I was in was Aquisition with the aim being to take control of as many trucks, checkpoints etc in the game. The comparisons to COD4 won't harm it - infact, the closer it gets to COD4 but with 256 players, the better.

More on it when I get a bit more play time.

BTW, Uncharted 2 demo now on Store...

Recently finished Batman. Awesome game, I'll give it a break for a few weeks and then I'll go back and play all the challenge modes to get the 100% completion achievement (I already have all the collectables).

I'm really looking forward to Uncharted 2: its getting astonishingly good reviews.
