You think it's exactly the same as 09? I've heard one or two of the houdreds of views on the demo saying they thought it was the same, only for that ridiculous opinion to be shot down. There are no real similarities to this demo to Fifa 09. None! Every single aspect of 10 is a major improvement over 09. Everything is tighter, more responisve and intuitive. You can now skin defenders with skill and cunning, shoot thunderbolt strikes from over 30 yards without in ballooning over the bar, player physicallity is a major difference, and players make more intelligent movement on and off the ball. The 360 movement is far more fluid and you can feel this instantly. Go play a game of 09 after playing the demo for a while and you'll see and feel these differences. The differences is night and day and there isn't even a debate about it. It's just a fact.

must just be me mate  :D

I'll play a couple more times

It's not just you. There are a few people who had the same view, but they just aren't taking advantage of the new gameplay. Don't play it like Fifa 09. There's a whole new experience to be had once you get the feel for it. Oh, and put everything on manual, apart from shooting. Keep that on semi.

I can't get excited about sports games, I occasionally buy FIFA but never on launch. The truth is that unless you're a hard core FIFA fan there simply isn't enough diversity in the gameplay (from one version to the next) to justify me buying it every year.

I'm not a hardcore Fifa fan, but the past two version have been justified and vastly improved on over the previous attempt. PES was exactly the same years ago, the improvements were minor, but those minor tweaks made the game so much better and well worth buying for. However, Fifa 10 sh*ts on any PES game past or present. Haven't played a really exciting football game in years, maybe since PES 4, but this has been well worth the wait this gen.

This is the exact reason I'm not going to do the Fifa 10 Demo.  I'll "Suffer" through till October 20th when it's released here by sticking with 09.  I am really looking forward to 10, everything I've read about it has me completely psyched for getting it.

My wife and I spent last weekend playing Beatles Rock Band.  Started on Medium but that was a bit too easy so we played on Hard.  Very challenging when trying to play guitar and sing backup vocals.  Would be a blast with a whole bunch of people, which we will be doing this coming weekend.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

I'll be looking to get that for the PC also. Ive recently opened an account with Amazon. So far got myself an Xbox wire pad for my PC (also for the xbox, the bloody wireless costs a small fortune in batteries) which cost about £17 (£30 in the shops around here) and pre ordered RE5 so far its at £17.99. Kids are looking forward to this one, as I refuse to pay for Xbox live for them to play online with their xbox when im already paying for the bloody connection ! (being tight helps !) robbing gits. Im still mulling over Football Manager 2010. Looks pretty similar to 2009 with a couple of "extra bits" that dont grab my attention as much.

Anyone played the PES 10 demo? What a shambles the game is now. Sad to see it in the state it's in, but thank f*ck for Fifa 10 because otherwise we'd be stuck with that shyte.
