'baldricks cunning plan' is in disguise?

Probably not but he certainly singled out his targets the other night. BIGMICK and ACE. Straight in at the jugular if you ask me..

If he is not in disguise and is a true newbie then people need to lay off him. If you don't agree with him fine but don't vindicate him for his point of view. This place is far to cliquey or whatever the word is. Some of the old guard seem to think that because they have 10000 posts or however many, that their point is more valid and that the other poster is simply incorrect and disregarded, it's like they're flexing their 'Newkit' muscles and frankly it's pathetic

If people have an opinion and they back it up with a well constructed argument / case then accept it as an opinion and discuss it with them if you feel the need. Don't just brandish it rubbish and mock the poster. People wouldn't go about it that way with Ciggy or Dawson so why a new poster? We are supposed to want to keep hold of the more opinionated posters not push them away to RAWK or wherever.

Debate it great but don't gang up on posters, it's like being back at school but this time people can hide behind their PC's without the risk of a smack.

Well whoever he is, he's a welcome addition to the forum I reckon. I don't go for his spelling thing as I don't think it really matters how you spell Skyrtel as we all know who we're on about, but other than that he's made his points pretty well. Yes it's true he kind of homed in on me a bit, but he made his points reasonably and you need some new posters from time to time to stir things up a bit.

He's obviously coming from a fairly positive glass half full standpoint which is fine (infact he may be coming from a glass is fully full but whatever

), and statements such as Jamie Carragher being the best centre back in the Premiership are a bit unusual, but fair play to the bloke. He's obviously a genuine Liverpool fan, and as such I hope he enjoys the forum.

think the guy is a breath of fresh air on the place and his outlook and views on our own club and players is really positive and great too see and because of that he has been attacked by the gang all because he offers a positive outlook as opposed to the recent negative outlook we see as normal and also because he dares back our own players and critisized man utd or chelsea players he also got attacked , im not sure if we will see him post much anymore due to the welcome he has had and that in itself is a disgrace and pretty damming all because the guy was positive about the club he supports - i hope he posts a lot more to buck the trend on here and help the other guys who try to be positive

FFS, quit being such a drama queen. No one was "attacked" and this lad hardly seems a wilting violet so I'm sure he'll cope with people disagreeing with him. Sheesh, everyone wants to play the martyr these days. :Oo:

maybe it is being a drama queen bob and attacked is prob the wrong word to use in the situation and yes he could prob handle himself but it still doesnt look good when a new poster posted something then gets leapt on for posting with opinion that goes against the grain , not very encouraging to any new person who wishes to join in . For a couple of weeks we had the antis saying that they were getting mistreated because they slagged of players etc and antis were getting cards and bans etc but only have to look through certain threads to see anyone who posts something positive and pro gets rounded on or accused of being clueless etc . Ps this is in no way a dig at the mods but maybe time for both sides to realise they at fault and remember that we all support the same team and yes that does include myself and i know im just as guilty as others but everyone needs to take a bit of responsiblity etc .

You need to get a grip on reality mate (well you don't "need" to but it would be a good move I reckon). Baldy came onto the forum and immendiately went onto the attack with me in particular, and Ace. No insults thougn fair play to the lad, he just got stuck into a few opinions which is absolutely fair enough. He had a go at my spelling and basically put the boot in on football chat. Like I said on this thread, NO PROBLEM!!!!!

He seems like a good bloke to me, I haven't had a cross word with him. I've pm'd him, he seems alright and just because i don't always agree with him it doesn't mean I have to "attack" him.

Not for the first time in the last few days your just being silly mate.
