TBF, i reckon the coca cola looks boss!

Problem is with red being coca colas signature colour it'll prob look like you're wearing a coca cola shirt rather than a liverpool shirt

I know what you mean

Thats the reason they pay massive money to be plastered across the front of big clubs' shirts. By being associated with well known sporting brands the companies scope for new business is broadened.
As you point out AIG are a finance (insurance) company but had they not been associated with the manc shite who would've known apart from Lakes.
Big conglomerates like Coca-Cola or Pepsi or Microsoft for that matter will all have big bucks but they don't need the exposure as much or more importantly probably won't feel the need to pay as much. This is probably the case with Carlsberg, they have masses of exposure through sources other than LFC and so probably don't see the financial sense in ploughing in the money that the club is know asking for.

Coke would be part of a global campaign that would give us fantastic exposure in asia etc.. so I´d be 100% for it.

I dont think they do footy sponsership tho do they?

I hope your taking the p!ss  ???

Nope it's true, I only started supporting Liverpool properly in about 1991 before then I wasn't really that into Football. I got invited up to a hospitality day and got hooked.

Don't worry though I'll still be around even if we swap sponsors, ah I can almost hear the sighs of relief  :D  :p

yes but quite a few football fans enjoy a beer, or so I've been told  :D

Coca Cola would make a hell of a lot of sense and the shirt would look as cool, if not cooler, than it does today with Carlsberg.

Coca Cola was sponsoring the FIFA World Cup. I don't know if that means they can't sponsor a football team, anyway I hope we get another one because I hate that company  :D
