It's still my opinion that he could've acted with less haste.
Starting a thread on the issue because after a couple of hours he hadn't received a response from the Newkit mods or administrator was imo premature,uneccessary and inevitably inflammable. Yet some in here seem happy to have a go at the newkit mods for the resulting ruckus.

im sorry but this thread is getting pathetic, that other forum must be laughing there fecking heads off at us tbh, its over an done with now ,it should be left to lie,imo

I'm a moderator on another Liverpool FC forum, and it has been brought to my attention that a moderator on this forum - Stmichael - has been copying posts and pasting them on here as his own.

Whilst I clearly have no intention of posting further on this forum, I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention. I hope any respect you may have had for this person will now be lost, as he doesn't even have the politeness to reply to my PM's.

Also, all the other moderators I have PM'd have also ignored my messages, which I find unprofessional, and very sad. I know that had this matter been brought to my attention I would have at least replied to the person in question and tried to address the matter.

Anyway, if any you were listening to this person - Stmichael!- in the past, don't bother in the future. He's a pathetic nobody who can't even formulate his own ideas.

It seems more a warning to us of StMike's activities than anything.( Obviously he wouldn't be aware that we ALL know of his copying)

Don't want to ruffle anybodys feathers, just giving a heads up.

Sounds like you all are in the know anyway.

As is seemingly confirmed by his second post.

He then makes no further posts on the subject until AFTER Bob had replied to him.

I don't deliberately set out to "bash the MODs", but when I think they are in the wrong I say so. Usually I am met with the same apathy, disdain and ridicule as the MOD from the other site was. So I do have some sympathy for him and anyone else who tries to raise issues of any kind with the Mod's.

If you bothered to read their thread you would realise that it was because of their members concerns that the Mod came onto our site in the first place.

Saint, I'm trawling through my inbox and hand on heart I do not have a pm from the guy who started this thread (Ayrton77).

Reading through his thread starter again i note he says

All the other moderators [B] (?) have ignored his pm , which he finds unprofessional.

Well I for one can only apologise for my unprofessional behaviour , not responding to a pm that was never sent to me, what a kunt I am.

Okay, first off, a mea culpa: I probably could have sent a quick PM to Ayrton acknowledging his complaint and letting him know I'd inquire into the matter. I was busy yesterday and I didn't get back to him. It happens sometimes but, in hindsight, it clearly could have saved some aggro so my bad.

I'm sorry but you guys--and here I'm referring especially to S@int and aCe'--need to look at your own roles in all of this before you tut tut about the Mods. Read the first page of the thread. Who's right in there, cracking jokes about St. Mike's habits from the off? You two. Sure, you were congenial and good humoured about it but that doesn't change the fact that you were treating this situation like a joke, much like everyone else was. I didn't see either of you asking Barry to tone it down or telling Dundalk or Igor that this was a legitimate concern that needed to be taken seriously. So, if you really felt like this guy was treated with 'apathy, disdain and ridicule' when he came forward with his concern, you sure weren't speaking up at the time. Curious one, that.
