So OJ was guilty and MJ was stitched up yet both cleared by the american justice system despite both of them have overwhelming evidence against them - shows what high profile lawyers can do for you. Will agree that the first kid was looking for money but the second kid turned down a settlement and any money as his parents wanted he prosecuted for what allegdy happened . As for why parents let their kids go there - they were stupid and he was famous and it would give them publicity .

And Ace how can i be arrogant because i dont respect someone who i believe may well of abused kids in some way despite what they achieved in their profession - same with no respect for tyson for raping someone . There are plenty of people in the world who have had a hard childhood but they dont go the way he did . As for racial issues he changed his appearance to make himself white ?!?

Yes he did lots of charity work but for me it still doesnt make me ignore the other stuff

God this doesn't feel real. I've never been a big Michael Jackson fan, have a greatest hits album and watched a few performances on Youtube. I'm only a young 'un, don't remember Diana and vaguly remember 9/11 so I've never really experienced something this big before, and i'm not sure how to react.

I'm gutted that he's dead, he's always been around in the papers and telly, and of course he was extremely talented and I respect him hugely as a music artist, not sure about the guy himself though. But now that he's gone, I just can't wrap my head around it tbh. I'm sad but not overwhelmingly, and let's face it all legends have died too soon so I think he does belong in that club (not to sound awful). I just can't believe he's gone, it's surreal.

So you pick up on one point of my post - great - he may well of had the illness but he certainly had loads and loads of surgery to change his appearance and IMO his colour

P.S. the change of colour through that illness happens in patches and at the extremes not the whole face and body

Most of the people who have the illness go on to use bleaching treatments or a depigmentation treatment to make their skin look normal.... he didnt go from black to white overnight, it was a gradual thing, as was the depigmentation treatment...

As for his nose thing, he broke it when he was younger in 1978 ..

He was referred to Dr. Steven Hoefflin, who performed Jackson’s second rhinoplasty and other subsequent operations. Many believe that he used this as an excuse to get a nose job."
