The boys from the mersey - Book

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Has anybody read nick allts book the boys from the mersey?
being a lpool fan around those times until i left for bournemouth with a couple of halewood lads and have been there ever since,i was somewhat disappointed with the book, besides the nostalgia i found it focussed its self too much on the people that were there and isolated the now lpool fans and i think it turned its self into a chas and dave scouse slang for beginners, which was a shame because nick allt obviously had a good story to tell and i had looked forward to this book with excited anticipation, just wanted to hear anybody elses opinion, thanks.
