who cares who they have and what their fans say I dont give a dam

I think things are creaking for them but write them off at your peril

I have to say that I completely disagree with AB's post.

Liverpool fans have become obsessed with Man UTD and how good they are in relation to us.

Rooney is potentially one of the all time greats: I have been following football since the early 1980s and I have rarely seen a player as complete as he is at the age of 18. He may yet throw his career down the toilet, but at the moment he is a superb player who has made the right move to a club that will nurture him and bring him on (well, as long as Ferguson is there).

Man UTD have a better side and squad than us. They had a disasterous season last year by their standards and yet they finished miles ahead of us.

We Liverpool fans should be more concerned in getting our own house in order before start slating Man UTD.

If I hear the new chestnut that Alonso+Gerrard+Nunez+Garcia=best midfield in the Premiership I will scream!

Football is not that simple and 90% of Liverpool fans never saw nor heard of any of the new Spanish players at the club before and I can't understand how they can now say how greta they are.

A.B. wrote:Why is it that the scum think that they have taken our place as far as challenging Arsenal this season? What makes them think that they can compete with Arsenal and Chelsea and even us?

They buy Rooney and then they think that they are Gods but they were quiet weeks before the signing.

"We have Rooney and Smith"

When was football a two man game? Last time I checked there were 11 players on a football squad not two.

-Van Nistelrooy=good striker but injuries will make him hard to return in the same form he was before. Don't get your hopes so high, scum. Don't cry when your striker can't perform as well as he should

-Wayne Rooney=this teenager isn't even worth 30 pounds, a desperate move for Utd. if you ask me. Everton needed the money otherwise they would had settled for less than 10. If Rooney is worth 30 then Gerrard is worth 70.

The rest of the squad is a joke. The defence is funny. Silvestre, how many penalties has he given ? Ferdinad will not make a huge difference for you all.

Midfield........................Djemba Djemba? I'm scared !! Ronaldo!! please don't drible the ball and fake a foul !! Giggs don't lose your breath old man! Scholes...............

No threat on the Manchester squad, other than Smith. Before you all Manchester fans slate other clubs look at your squad and look at it very closely. Not used to performing bad are you? Cheating your way to get a point from Blackburn and could had a draw with Norwich...

Be more concerned about Middlesbrough,Tottenham because don't be too surprised when they have a better placing than you.

As for slating Liverpool, don't go there. We have new players which need to play a bit more with each other. If we can beat you with the former Houlliers squad we can beat you with Rafa.

why do some fans have an obsession with man united being in a supposed decline? i hate them as much as the next liverpool supporter but the fact the matter is they were sh#te last season by their standards but still won the fa cup and finished above us in the league. :(

I'll admit that I hate Man U, but as everyone has said, you just can't write them off. How many times have I been delighted, thinking they've been on the wane: when Cantona retired I thought it was their end; when Newcastle beat them 5 - 0 and Southampton beat them 6 - 3; when Schmeichel left; when Arsenal began to take over. Sadly, I've always been proved wrong. They'll need a few poor seasons before we can say that their era has ended.

I agree with the above two posts.

Much as I hate them I admit that Man UTD still have a better side than us. Of course that may change as UTD aren't as good as they once are, but claims that we are far better and will put them in their place this season is premature.

There is an attitude among certain fans (but I'm not referring to AB) that they would be happy if we finished ahead of UTD.

Personally I don't care what our rivals do or where Man UTD finish as long as we put in a good show this season and start building a decent side.

hi to all

I have been reading this foum for about a month now and find it helpfull to find out the latest gossip surounding our great club, on the whole it is a good site......but some people seem to be on it only to build up high post count eg.  judge ....8 days as a member and over 400 posts which mostly amount to two or three words in each and when he does manage more words its normaly irrelevent to the subject eg. ( i speak different languages, have cultural experiences and have a great family)what has that got to do with the price of fish???

Sorry to go on a bit with my first post but its really annoying having to get through the ****** just to get to the posts that are informative interesting or funny. As i said its a good forum but without the minority intent only on building up post counts  it could be a great one!!
